The Nabb Inn
This takes its name from the old name for this area, which means a piece of rising ground. It is still displaying the Hardy and Hanson signs although this is being phased out by the current owners, Greene King.

Lievers Hill Area, Hucknall NG15, Notts
This farm track, off "The Common" (road name) very soon leads to Beacon Hill Farm and much later on to Musk Farm occupying a site at the NG15 side of the M1 motorway. The track is described as a "Private Road" although a public footpath runs along its length with a footpath off to the right (within a two minute walk of this point) allowing access up a gentle slope up Leivers Hill, seen in the distance.

Leivers Hill, Hucknall NG15, Notts
It seems likely that this grazing area named Leivers Hill was once owned by someone called Leivers. In 1891 there were two families with this surname recorded as living in Nottinghamshire. A gravestone in Greasley Church graveyard bears this name. Nabbs Lane is seen here passing Dawlish Close - in the foreground - and then the road names change to Common Lane where the cars are seen.
