Leivers Hill, Hucknall NG15, Notts
It seems likely that this grazing area named Leivers Hill was once owned by someone called Leivers. In 1891 there were two families with this surname recorded as living in Nottinghamshire. A gravestone in Greasley Church graveyard bears this name. Nabbs Lane is seen here passing Dawlish Close - in the foreground - and then the road names change to Common Lane where the cars are seen.

The large estate is collectively known as Ruffs. The name comes from the old farm name, Rough's Farm, but it was clearly felt that the original spelling was not appropriate.
