Notts - NG16 (Annesley Hall Area)
A parade of independent craftsmens' workshops clinging to one of the boundary walls of Annesley Hall, near to Chaworth Lodge, 100 metres along Weavers Lane (off A608). These were constructed in 1993-94 as part of a joint development by the Rural Development Commission and the Annesley Estate funded with E.U. Regional Development Fund monies.

Annesley Old Church, Annesley, Notts.
Very interesting ruin dating from Saxon times. In the little graveyard is a gravestone where the words just carry on regardless of the lines (enjambment I believe it's called).

Annesley Hall
A Grade II listed building and reputed to be one of the most haunted houses in England. Now sadly in need of restoration, Annesley Hall was the home of Byron's boyhood sweetheart, Mary Chaworth. Mary did not return his love and married John Musters, the squire of Colwick Hall, before Byron went to Cambridge.
