Corner House Leisure Complex, Nottingham NG1
Land Securities, owners The Corner House, have begun creating apiaries in appropriate locations in all of their properties. Since the spring of 2014 two hives have been installed here on a balcony on its third floor opposite the Icon Hair and Beauty salon. Each one houses approximately 60,000 bees and it is hoped the bees will produce between 30-60lbs of honey per hive this year for sale to Corner House customers to raise money for Mencap. The dome of the Council House is visible on the skyline.

'Max (Superhero on the Weekends)', Hoodwinked 2018, South Sherwood Street
'Hoodwinked: a twist on the tale' was a city-wide art project that ran from July 7th to September 30th, with 33 large plastic robins placed around the city on a walking trail. Each bird was decorated with a particular theme relating to where they were placed and the businesses sponsoring them. The theme of robins was chosen due to the city's famous connection with the legendary outlaw, Robin Hood. This bird was titled 'Max (Superhero on the Weekends)', was sponsored by the Cornerhouse and was designed by Kid30. It had a design based on multiple superheroes.
