Craven and Halfway Cottages, Caythorpe
Among the older buildings in the village. Craven Cottage, left, contains 16th century elements, while Halfway Cottage, right, is 18th century. The extension between them includes a first floor framework knitter's workshop with its typical large window.

The Croft, Caythorpe Road, Caythorpe
Early 17th century cottage, much rebuilt in the 19th century. The luxuriant climbing rose obscures the remaining timber framing of the facade. The buildings behind are a much later enlargement of the dwelling which is now a substantial house. Listed Grade II.
