Plantation Cottages
A group of houses built in 1956. The date appears on the small inset stones in the central part of the upper storey, which contain also a coat of arms that I was unable to identify. These may have been associated with the Police training centre, rather than a council development, for which the architecture does not seem right.

Western end of Main Street, Epperstone
Seen from the pavement that is raised significantly above road level to provide pedestrian access to the houses along the north side of Main Street at this point. The building site on the right is to be occupied by new housing.

Epperstone Manor
A large country house, built in stages between the mid 18th century and 1893, it late became a Police Training School before being converted to apartments around 2010. Listed Grade II.
