Nottingham: Victoria Bus Station
Behind the bus station is what remains of the huge cutting in which Nottingham Victoria railway station once stood. The station closed in the 1960s and the Victoria shopping centre now occupies much of the site.

At Woodborough Road junction
It's not exactly New York's Flatiron Building, but it is pointed and wedged between two streets. Mansfield Road is straight ahead on the right, York Street (leading to the Victoria Bus Station) straight ahead on the left and the traffic light is preventing a left turn into Woodborough Road. The tower block further south was built as part of the Victoria Centre development, on the site of the old Victoria Station.

Victoria Bus Station
This is the later site, the original bus station having been absorbed into the shopping centre for retail expansion. It is used by services to places outside Nottingham, in the sector from Northwest to Northeast

Nottingham - NG1
This is Victoria Bus Station - off the B684 (Woodborough Rd) - with the backs of retail premises and apartments visible on its right-hand side. Although the Victoria Shopping Centre appears to be located immediately in front of a high-rise building in reality the former is not at the foot of the latter, geographically.

Former C W Judge bakery, Mansfield Road, Nottingham
The second building from the corner. Built c.1860, Listed Grade II for the survival of many of the original bakery features in the basement and the cafe extension to the rear. Until recently occupied by a restaurant.
