Aslockton railway station, Nottinghamshire, 1983
Opened in 1850 on (what became) the Great Northern railway's line from Grantham to Nottingham. This was the station house, and level crossing with traditional wooden gates, view south west from Main Street. See Image] for a more recent view.

Aslockton Station, waiting shelter
The interior of the late 19th century shelter on the Nottingham-bound platform http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3923433. The shelter is a listed building and has been refurbished with murals by local schoolchildren.
