Aslockton Station (1)
The white station building is on the platform for trains to Nottingham. The train in the picture is not a "stopper" - it was travelling at about 60 mph when the photo was taken.

Aslockton railway station, Nottinghamshire, 1983
Opened in 1850 on (what became) the Great Northern railway's line from Grantham to Nottingham. This was the station house, and level crossing with traditional wooden gates, view south west from Main Street. See Image] for a more recent view.
