Tram 209 'Sydney Standard' about to depart for Phoenix Park. Passengers await the arrival of a tram from, presumably, Phoenix Park. Not sure if the tram still carries the name since it received its bright new colour scheme.

An old bus in Nottingham City Centre
Taken in May 1969, this photo shows 171 (KAL 685) an AEC Regent III With Park Royal 60-seater bodywork about to leave South Parade on route 14 to Gamston Bridge. It dates from 1948 and is in the dark maroon (almost brown) and deep cream livery of West Bridgford Urban District Council Passenger Transport Department. This undertaking was taken over by Nottingham City Transport on the 1st April 1968, but this vehicle was still in the former livery minus the WBUDC wording below the lower deck windows. An Austin Cambridge with a City of Nottingham registration number GAU 78D dating from 1966 can be seen on the left of the photo. South Parade now has tramlines fitted for the Nottingham Express Transit system.
