Bottle Lane - Appeal for knowledge
Next to sandstone coloured building in the centre of the picture used to stand a pub called the Queen Elizabeth. Where the to let new building is there used to be a line of buildings which included a double-fronted Home Brewery pub which was never frequented by students - hence I and a few friends went there quite a few times in our second year (1978)! But I cannot remember what it was called, does any body out there know?
