Delville Avenue
The area to the north of Debdale Lane was developed from the early 20th century with the increase of commuting into Nottingham, initially via the railway at Plumtree Station, but later by car. It remained significantly separate from the traditional village until the post-World War II expansion of the village.

Melbourne Cottage, Debdale Lane
The area to the north of Debdale Lane was developed from the early 20th century with the increase of commuting into Nottingham, initially via the railway at Plumtree Station. This would have been one of the earliest houses to be built.

Fingerpost at the junction of Nottingham Road and Debdale Lane
The post is a traditional Notts C.C. concrete post with octagonal 'NCC' finial. The fingers are made of plastic rather than the traditional wood, but have applied moulded letters to at least match the style of traditional fingerposts.
