Old Post Office, Edwalton
Since Alan took Image the leaves on the cottage have fallen, revealing a plaque which names the building as "The Old Post Office".
Presumably it used to be a Post Office.

Edwalton: former post office
"Part of West Bridgford. Modern housing has completely submerged the old village," wrote Nikolaus Pevsner. The Old Post Office - typical South Notts village cottages - is one of the few surviving village buildings. The photograph was taken on a damp September morning.
