Scots Pine in flower, Cotgrave Country Park.
It's easy to overlook the fact that conifers do have flowers as well as cones. In this case there were nice low branches enabling good close up views.

Trail marker, Cotgrave Country Park
The symbol shows reedmace heads, of which there are none in the immediate vicinity, the principal plant (other than trees) being the bramble forming the background to the picture.
