Clifton Lane, Nottingham, NG11
Clifton Lane looking towards Nottingham. On the left is the main entrance into the £59m Lark Hill retirement village that opened in 2009. Apart from obvious difference in the age of its residents, it is apparently not all that different from a university campus with accommodation blocks, a shopping area, a gym, a library and a bar. Non-residents are also able to use the facilities

South western end of Farnborough Road, Clifton
At this time, the track of the Nottingham Express Transit phase 2 line from Clifton park and ride site only got as far as here, having yet to be linked to the track on the rest of Clifton estate.
