Footpath at Compton Acres
Last time I was here the footpath/cycleway was not quite ready. The fence is a sound barrier to protect houses on the right rather than one to keep people off the tracks.

Railway embankment removal
This is the section between Ruddington Lane Park and Wilford Lane. A notice indicates that the work would take 4 months from August 2012, so the schedule seems to have been pretty well kept.

Looking north from Compton Acres tram stop
The overhead wires are currently complete to this point. The stop signs are to prevent contractors' vehicles encroaching onto what is now a testing area.

Footpath along the old railway
This will be the alignment of the proposed tram route extension to Clifton. The present embankment will be removed to allow the trams to run at ground level.
