Gypsum Way, Gotham
This road, constructed to enable lorries to avoid Gotham village when travelling to and from the gypsum works, was built on the formation of a railway line that once served a gypsum mine to the west of the village.

Gypsum Way
A relief road around the south east of Gotham. The name suggests it was built largely to remove traffic of the nearby Gypsum mine and factory from the village.

Bus depot, Leake Road
Originally the depot of the South Notts Bus Company and built in 1926. In 1991 the company was taken over by Nottingham City Transport who continue to operate some routes with South Notts branding. The bus is on the South Notts service 1 between Loughborough and Nottingham

An empty bus garage
The former South Notts garage was closed on 27 March 2021 as part of Nottingham City Transport's need to reduce costs as part of a post COVID recovery plan. Started as a family business in 1926, the South Notts Bus Company was taken over by Nottingham City Transport in 1991. The traditional service between Nottingham and Loughborough continues to operate under the South Notts brand.
