The odd houses on Lime Grove
Unlike the houses on the even side http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1834888 there are varying in design. 1 to 7 are two pairs of semis of one type 9 - 15 of another. On the whole there are fewer original features left on this side.

The even houses on Lime Grove
The houses on the odd side of Lime Grove are of varying design http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1876275 . The even side seen here has a row of four identical pairs of semis. At least they would originally been identical, inevitable changes over the years have led to differences in windows, doors, side gates etc. All except two have the bay window sills, lintels and mullions painted white (or near-to). No 2 in the far distance and just visible has a strange peach-colour and No 12 is unpainted.

Lime Grove, Long Eaton
The avenue of pollarded limes appears to have been planted specifically because this was the access to the cemetery, the gates of which appear in the foreground.

Lime Grove without cars
Closed for patching of the surface laid last June http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1379352 so like then we have the rare sight of this road without parked cars. As it turned out the only areas to be repaired were about where I was standing to take this (where cars turn into the car park of the Chandelier http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1367017 ) and the corners into and out of Lime Terrace. So all of the surface that can be seen here remains as seen.
