Painted Decoration
The house on the right has had its stone ornamentation painted. The perpetrator was careful not to touch the neighbour's patch when applying the colour to the column between the front doors. I am reminded of "My Pink Half of the Drainpipe" from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Doughnut_in_Granny's_Greenhouse

Commenced in 1902 this is one of the last of the tenement lace factories to be built. The chimney is in the next grid square south and has a cast iron cap. The mills are three storeys with an attic and there are adjoining single storey buildings. from Image]

Sun Through The Windows
Of Bridge Mill, Long Eaton. Although the mill is up for sale some of the tenants - mainly furniture and upholstery companies appear to be still operating. By 7 p.m. all is quiet.
