Mill Staircase
At the back of Willetts Mill, Regent Street, Long Eaton.
Having now joined the gym which occupies the second floor I can now confirm that these off-shots which are characteristic of the mills in this area, do contain staircases.

Willatts Mill, Regent Street, Long Eaton
This partly demolished former steam powered mill shows bearing boxes in the end wall that would have once supported the line shafting powering the machinery. The fine circular chimney with cap is a nice survivor.

Looking along Oxford Street from Fletcher Street, Long Eaton
The apartment bocks on the right appear to be an architectural pastiche of the town's mill architecture. The chimney is on Willat's Mill on Regent Street and is one of at least four that were to be found in a small area in 2011.
