Shop fronts in Glanton
Two shop fronts occupy a prominent position in the centre of Glanton village. To the right, the board announces "JM Johnston Ironmongers and Plumbers", but in reality the business is operating as a post office, newsagents, a very small tea room and provider of office services.

The windows suggest that there were once two shops here in the village centre. That to the left has become a private house, whilst the one to the right doesn't actually look much like an ironmongers from what is inside the windows.
