Houses in Canongate
There's been very little expansion of Alnwick on this west side of town, almost all land being part of the castle estates. These cottages are part of that estate and appear to be mid to late 19thC.

St Michael's Church
Situated rather strangely towards the edge of town rather than in the centre, perhaps more associated with the castle than the town. The church is unusual in that it was built during the 14th century, which was a time of trouble in the border region.
