House overlooking the River Coquet. The track in the foreground is followed by St Oswald's Way http://www.stoswaldsway.com/home.html, a 156 Km long trail which runs from Heavenfield near Hexham to Holy Island on the Northumberland coast (although more commonly walked in the opposite direction).

A short crop of oats in a field to the north of High Weldon. The prolonged dry start to the summer means the crop is shorter than would normally be expected and the lack of moisture and heat has caused the crop to start dying earlier then expected.
