Site of the former Three Half Moons Inn, Rothbury
According to a plaque adjacent to this gateway, this was the original doorway and site of the 17th century Three Half Moons Inn. It also states: 'The Earl of Derwentwater slept here on the night of 6th October 1715 before marching with his Jacobite followers to their defeat at Preston'.

All Saints Church, Rothbury
All Saints Church is situated in the heart of the attractive town of Rothbury. This is an ancient place of worship though the current church dates only from 1847 to 1850. Despite being well into England, there is a page in the Undiscovered Scotland website http://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/rothbury/allsaints/ giving much more information about the church.
