Armstrong Cross, Rothbury
Standing 22 feet 7 inches high in the heart of Rothbury, the monument was erected in 1902 on the site of the ancient market cross, by the inhabitants of Rothbury in remembrance of the long and useful lives of William Armstrong and his wife Margaret.

Built in 1890. A terrace known as Model Buildings because they represented 'state of the art' workers' housing at the time.

This terrace of houses, called Model Buildings, is between Rothbury centre and the River Coquet. The name is because they were state of the art workers' houses of the 1890s.
