Charming pant/drinking fountain in Physic Lane
Well kept and complete with tethered cup. The water has a pleasant taste and no smell. The well weathered inscription above reads 'DRINK, REST AND BE THANKFUL'.

The pub sits high at the eastern end of Thropton’s main street, at the turn off to Snitter. The hogback bridge was built 1810 crosses the Wreigh Burn, a tributary of the Coquet.
