The slip road from the A1(South-bound) leading on to the A192 which runs on into Morpeth.

Under-pass, Fairmoor
The A192 passes under the A1 at this point, with the alternative of either continuing North or turning around and taking the South-bound lane.I had attempted the latter route the previous day but found when I passed under the A1 I was unable to proceed any further as the on-slip was jammed as was the A1 itself. Did a neat little 3-point turn and returned home to a warm fire and a nice glass of wine.

Roundabout, Fairmoor, Morpeth
A roundabout sits at the junction of sliproads from the A1 and the A192. Once the new Morpeth Northern Bypass is complete, access to and from the A1 will be from new sliproads to the south and this junction will be removed, possibly along with the roundabout.
