Broken gate
This used to be a productive farm until about 5 years ago when the old owners sold off part of it for development. As you can see it is now unworked and falling into a state of disrepair.

Entrance to Bluebell Dene
This is the entrance to Bluebell Dene Newbiggin Hall. It is all ex local authority stock that was rebuilt by a private contractor and then sold on to residents. The idea was to show local people what was possible if a local developer was allowed to take over and rebuild the housing stock and it allowed first time buyers affordable housing. However the council at the time did not take it forward far enough and Newbiggin Hall estate has pockets like this and a large area that is still in the hands of the local authority.
