Footpath leading to The North Tyne near Redeswood
On the OS map this footpath should lead to one that goes to Bellingham and another that crosses The North Tyne. This is marked on the map ---- stepping stone and a ford aren't. We have walked this area before and can find no way across the river even when the water is very low. Can anyone help solve this mystery?

River North Tyne
According to the OS Map the footpath crosses the river at this point. No footbridge or stepping stones. There may have been a ford here but none is marked on the map. Look at the far bank you may see what I mean regarding a ford. The river looks quite deep so unless your name is Brian Clough I would go the long way round. Or after you!
