Southern Region carriages at Bellingham Heritage Centre
This is half of a Southern Region TC set. These were unpowered 4 car trains propelled or hauled by an Electric Unit (a REP) between Waterloo and Bournemouth and then hauled or propelled on the unelectrified section from there to Weymouth, and also used on trains to Salisbury. Connection with this line is a mystery.
Services on the old line were withdrawn in the age of steam. Now used as a tea room.

The Train Standing at Platform 1 is now a Tea Room
A 1950s railway carriage has provided the platform for 22-year-old Sarah Billany to launch her own rural business.
The official opening took place at the weekend of two carriages at Bellingham Heritage Centre in Northumberland, which is based at the town’s former railway station.
