On a 1866 Map this farm is marked as North Bridgeford. Some of the outbuildings have been converted into holiday cottages.

Bungalow near the River North Tyne
This bungalow is in a wonderful spot especially when the water isn't too high. At present the footpath goes in front of the bungalow but is due to rerouted to the back of the building. SHAME.

Banks of a stream near Bridgeford Farm, Bellingham
The stream runs through the small wood shown in Image] to the River North Tyne in the trees.
The sandy banks (see Image]) have slumped to create this small, irregular valley.
Following a hot, dry spell, the stream consists only of a few pools of standing water.
