Fish Ladder, Thornley Bridge, River East Allen
FISH have been given a helping hand to get to their spawning grounds, with the installation of a fish pass in the East Allen river.
Water work The new fish pass at Allenmill Bridge, near Allendale.Salmon and sea trout can now swim unhindered upstream to the area near Catton for the first time in hundreds of years.
