Langley
A hamlet beside the B6295. The drive leads to the Langley Furniture Works housed in the Old Brick Works. A bridge on the Hexham to Allendale railway once spanned the main road at the furthest point.

Bridges at Langley
There are two bridges over the old Hexham to Allendale Line at Langley, the first is a conventional road bridge, the second is unusual in that it carried the flue from the Langley smelt mill to a chimney on the moors at Stublick.

The train now standing at Platform 2 ...
... left about 50 years ago. The lawned area is the old track bed at Langley Garden Station and the gravelled area on the right is the old platform opposite the wooden station buildings which can be seen in one of the other images for this grid square.
