Best view of the Egger works
The best view of the Egger works can be seen from the path which drops steeply from Fellside down to Valley View. Although many consider the works to be an eyesore, it brings much employment and prosperity to Hexham.

Egger's seen from Yarridge Road
Egger's is the largest works in Hexham. located in the north-eastern corner of town, manufacturing what could best be described as "posh chipboard".

The Tyne in spate
The weir is completely submerged after heavy rain, and the small island just downstream has almost disappeared beneath the waves. Eggers factory can be seen on the far bank. Compare with Image
