Mettalis Recycling, Monument Park
Metal recycling plant at the industrial eastern end of Washington. As usual on industrial estates, there is inadequate parking for employees who have to park on the roadside. The road leads on to the Washington Wetlands Centre. The world-famous C2C cycle route runs along the footway on the right before crossing the road and running alongside the northern fence of the works.
