Junction of Kenton Lane and Kenton Road, Newcastle upon Tyne
The wide traffic light controlled junction where Kenton Road meets Kenton Lane. A parade of shops with flats above stands on the opposite corner of the junction. One of the small businesses have decorated the shutters of their shop with a design celebrating the efforts of nurses during the COVID-19 outbreak which affected the country in 2020. Shop shutter artwork, Kenton, Newcastle upon Tyne
A recently painted artwork on the shutters of small business located at the corner of Kenton Lane and Kenton Road. The artwork celebrates the role of nurses in the NHS and features the rainbow motif associated with public displays of thanks to 'key workers' during the outbreak of COVID-19 which affected the country in 2020.
