Palmer Statue in Jarrow town Centre
The statue of Charles Mark Palmer (Baronet) with its back to the Viking Centre in Jarrow
This statue has done the rounds over the years
It started off in Clayton Street (with its back to the Palmer Memorial Hospital)
Then it was moved to Tyne Street overlooking the Tyne (with its back to Jarrow)
And now it's been moved to the Town Centre on Grange Road overlooking the Town Hall (with its back to the Viking Centre)
The Councillors want to make their minds up?
'Should it go or should it stay?'
