Total Policing
The sculpture, "Total Policing", outside the new Northumbria Police area command headquarters in North Tyneside. The sculpture was created by local artist Cate Watkinson and reflects the values of Northumbria Police - circular, encompassing all, sheltering and giving protection. Constructed in stainless steel and glass, it is lit at night using blue light; the same colour as the blue lamp once displayed outside every police station in Britain.
