Eve Black Coastal Walkway, Seaton Sluice Beach
This walkway through the dunes links Seaton Sluice and Blyth. The path carries National Cycle Network route 1 (Coast and Castles route), which is also part of the European Cycle Network North Sea route. The route previously ran alongside the A193. In 2007, the path was renamed the Eve Black Coastal Walkway in honour of Eve Black, the Blyth Valley Borough councillor and former mayor, who died in April 2006 http://www.newspostleader.co.uk/news/local/walkway-unveiled-in-memory-of-late-borough-councillor-1-1622072
