Reivers Cycle Route, Darras Hall
Regional Route 10 of the National Cycle Network here follows the line of an old railway from Darras Hall out to Belsay Colliery (status bridleway). The buildings beyond the barrier are the blocks of shops in the Darras Hall shopping centre on Broadway.

Ponteland United Reformed Church, Darras Hall
This church was built in the early 1990s, and replaced the previous church building which was the former railway station at this site. The station building closed to passengers in 1929 and was converted to a church at a later date. The railway line closed completely in 1954. Old Station Court, Darras Hall
Regional Route 10 of the National Cycle Network here follows the line of an old railway through Old Station Court. The railway to Darras Hall came very late in the railway era. It only opened in 1913, was never a commercial success and closed to passengers in 1929. The station finally closed in 1954.
