"The Highlan er"
The Highlander is a well-known roadside pub on the A696 Newcastle to Jedburgh road. Like many signs composed of individual letters, a vital letter is missing. You would think that owners of signs like this might have the forethought to keep a spare set of letters in stock against the inevitable day when one (or more) letters goes missing! Speed camera in the distance.
