New Bridge Street West
The building with the red dome is Northern Goldsmiths on the Blackett - Pilgrim Street corner together with its Golden Clock and Lady Image
New Bridge Street follows the line of the Town Wall and led to the 1812 New Bridge across the Pandon Burn, one of the streams now hidden beneath the surface. The Pearl Assurance Building is on the right.

Choc Sculpture, New Bridge Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne
This hand-painted sculpture is part of the 'Peter Rabbit: Tales of the Tyne Art Trail' the fourth interactive trail run by St Oswald's Hospice which aims to raise money for the charity. The sculptures are inspired by the books of Beatrix Potter and this particular work was painted by illustrator Steve Johnson.
