Line Building East and INTO Building
This modern building replaced the original Line Building East, which was built in the 1920s. A glassed walkway joins the building to the main Newcastle University INTO building. In the background the Haymarket War Memorial and Percy Street can be seen.

Barras Bridge, Newcastle upon Tyne
The wide pavement on the western side of Barras Bridge. The area has recently been repaved to improve the entrance to the city centre, with work still ongoing on the other side of the street. A digital advertising screen is showing a government message relating to their efforts to control the COVID-19 pandemic.

Crow's Nest and former Grand Hotel, Barras Bridge, Newcastle
Lively pub in red sandstone and granite, dated 1902.
The long front next door, with a similar pair of gables each containing a circular window, dates from 1889. Now mostly occupied by Blackwell's bookshop.
Surprising that neither is listed.
