Hexham Road, Throckley
Hexham Road was built on the line of Hadrian's Wall and gives a long, straight walk to Heddon on the Wall. The property on the far side of Dhillon's Fish Inn (Fish & Chip Shop) was once Throckley Post Office.

Senate House, Hexham Road, Throckley
The building was the former Throckley Co-op. The store moved around the corner to a large modern building on Newburn Road but this was sold a few years ago to Sainsbury's.
