Canderdyke-head Plantation
Showing that the square is not just the M74 seen through a windscreen, a brambly wood. Mind, I am on the motorway, just at the buttress of an overbridge with the road behind me and the M74 beneath me. The fence runs along the top of the motorway cutting.

Unsuitable road
There seems to be no problem here, but after a short distance this road descends and twists steeply to cross the Cander Water - unsuitable for heavy goods vehicles!
