The banks of the Cander Water
The Cander Water is a secondary tributary of the River Clyde: it drains into the Avon Water, which enters the Clyde between Hamilton and Motherwell.

Old railway bridge near Spittal House
The track passing under the bridge allows access to fields by the Cander Water, although the railway above has long since closed and been dismantled.
