Approaching Harthill
This used to be the main Edinburgh - Glasgow road and it appears that it was a dual carriageway with one half now grassed over. Instead of four lanes, now it is a B road, narrowed by traffic calming measures.

B7066, Greenrigg
The former A8 with the appearance of having a carriageway grassed over. Note the mature trees suggests that the road was designed for future widening. Now most traffic occupies the M8. Taken leaving Harthill.
