Burnbrae Road
The name below the 30mph sign is Shotts. This part of the town is called Stane which along with Dykehead, Torbothie and Springhill form the town of Shotts. Originally the name only applied to the area of 'Shotts Iron Works'. Shotts was the historical parish. The parish church Shottskirk is a couple of miles NW nearer to the village of Salsburgh.
