Albert Primary School (demolition site)
"The Advertiser told in March [2011] how the vacant school building is to be knocked down and its location, on the corner of Flowerhill Street and North Biggar Road, transformed into around 15 council houses... ...The Albert Primary building has been empty since the school closed five years ago, despite a campaign and 3000-signature petition to save it, with pupils moving to Tollbrae, Chapelside and Clarkston primaries".
