Orrs of Airdrie was founded in 1857 and closed on the 30th of June 2007, the store would have celebrated its 150th Birthday in October 2007 but it wasn't to be. The building will soon be getting demolished to make way for a four storey building, the ground floor and the basement will be for shops and the two upper floors will have 15 flats.
